Young Women with Backpacks

For our girls. For our culture. For our future.

Dream Weavers is a regional youth program designed to uplift, support, and empower First Nations young women from Years 7 to 12.

Grounded in cultural strength and community care, this initiative is about weaving dreams into reality — together.

We walk alongside you as you grow your confidence, build your voice, and shape your future.

Who Can Join?

If you're a proud Indigenous girl in Years 7 to 12 living in Ulladulla, Bega Valley, Eurobodalla, or Queanbeyan, you’re welcome to join us.

You can sign up yourself or be nominated by someone who sees your potential — like a teacher, Koori Liaison Officer, family member or mentor.

What We Do

We offer a culturally grounded space where you can:

Learn & Lead – Take part in leadership programs, life-skills workshops, and cultural activities that centre your identity and strength.

Grow With Confidence – Build resilience, self-belief and connection with other girls walking a similar path.

Plan Your Pathway – Get support with school, set future goals, and explore options for further education, training or work.

Stay Connected – Deepen your connection to culture, community and Country through storytelling, learning, and safe spaces.

Involve Your Mob – We encourage your parents, carers, and school leaders to be part of your journey too — walking beside you every step.

Because your dreams matter. Because your story matters. Because you're already enough

and now it’s time to rise, to grow, and to thrive.

This is your space to belong, to lead, and to build your future with culture at the heart.

Who We Are

Dream Weavers is proudly supported by the National Indigenous Australians Agency and led by community-minded mentors who care deeply about your story, your family, and your journey.

We're not here to replace what's already in place — we’re here to enhance it.

Think of us as your extra support crew, offering wrap-around care that meets you where you're at — whether that's at school, at home, or out in community.
